MEANINGFUL & INNOVATIVE

DIGITAL EXPERIENCES.

I have had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in the world, including industry leaders like Google, Syngenta, UBS, Delivery Hero, and Mediamarkt. With ten years of experience, I have worked in vastly different areas and industries, which has helped me develop a unique perspective and approach to solving problems.
When creating solutions, I don't rely on assumptions. Instead, I follow the facts and data to ensure my work is grounded in scientific purpose.

// My UX process Game

Let's observe how I execute my UX process as if it were a football match.

1.

Just as teams gather for pre-game strategizing, I initiate my journey with the Discovery phase.

This phase resembles the preparation time before a match, where coaches study the opponent. I delve into user research, understanding the audience's goals, preferences, and pain points, much like a coach scouting the competition.

2.

As the referee blows the whistle to start the game, I enter the Research phase.

Much like players aiming to control the ball, I collect valuable data to understand user behaviors and expectations. Every interaction with users is akin to every touch on the ball, guiding my design decisions.

3.

In the midfield, where strategy come into play, the Strategy phase emerges.

Like a midfield maestro, I plan the course of action. I analyze data and map out a strategic roadmap, orchestrating a series of passes to create a seamless user journey.

4.

As forwards push to break through the opposing defense, I advance to the Design phase.

I create wireframes and prototypes, much like players executing intricate manoeuvres to outwit defenders. The goal here is to design interfaces that smoothly navigate users through the digital field.

5.

In the face of tackles and challenges, I enter the Testing phase.

Just as players adapt their tactics based on the opponent's moves, I refine my designs based on user feedback. Each testing iteration is like a halftime team talk, fine-tuning the game plan for a stronger second half.

6.

Like a goal scorer, I execute my crafted designs.

When a team scores the winning goal, this equates to the Implementation phase. The experience I've created resonates with users, like the roar of fans when the ball finds the back of the net.

7.

Just as players reflect on their performance after a game, I engage in post-launch analysis.

I assess user engagement and satisfaction, much like players evaluating their match performance and coaches analyzing tactics for improvement in future games.

GOOGLE DATA EXPLORER

The Google Market Insights team designs and runs research projects to support the sales and marketing teams.

Goal

The goal is to create seamless products for Google internal staff and users at Google's research partners to preview, personalise and analyse dashboards. Alongside importing & exporting data.

Challenge

The result of these projects is often large datasets that need to be communicated to their colleagues, many of whom aren't comfortable (or don't have the time for) diving into large .xls or .spss files.

User personas

The process started from understanding the business requirements then identifying our users. After that, understand their needs through qualitative research such as Skype user interviews on Google's marketers and sales.

Generating ideas

We wireframed ideas and iterated on a few times, then arrived at a point where we had to split the project into two applications with a cross-bridge: a back-end database management system capable of housing large data sets. The other is for presenting data.

Testing hypothesis

Test the best two of them by creating high fidelity solutions and did iterate user testing remotely a couple of times, to cover all challenging points.

Final iteration

After we got sign-off on wireframes, I developed perfect pixel designs for the typical desktop, responsive views following Google's Material designs guidelines in addition to interactive prototypes. Helped out the engineers during implementation by providing all the necessary assets and guidance.
